Misa Polo Club (Born in 1888)

On your way from the Guwahati Airport, 3 hrs out from Guwahati through a scenic drive, is the Misa Polo Club with 18 hole Golf course,Driving range, Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Croquet, Table tennis,Antique Billiard Table, Darts etc. It is located in the picturesque Kellyden Tea Estate, 40 kms from Nagaon and 35 kms from Tezpur.

Nameri National Park – Peace with Nature
This area is a birders’ paradise, and keen photographers, ornithologists have spent many days in this forest studying behavior patterns of these birds. Accompanied by naturalist Mr. Sushil Ngate.
Highlights: Morning-Afternoon
● Leave at 6:00 am with packed breakfast. 30 mins drive.
● Nameri jungle trek/Birding 6:00-8:00 am.
● River Rafting on the Jia Bhoroli 9:00 – 11:00 am.
● Organised lunch at the Baligora Camp , at Tarajan Patasali which is just
1km from the highway.
● Drive back to Wild Mahseer after lunch.
Kaziranga National Park-6th Addition – Much more than the Big 5
Take a pleasure in crossing the small river on the boat from Bishwanath ghat to the north bank of the Kaziranga National Park which is the new 6th addition and experience 2 hours jeep safaris amidst the forest surrounded by the wild. It covers an area of 376 sq.km on the other side of the south bank.

● 30 mins drive to the 6th Addition from Wild Mahseer after lunch.
● Jeep safari from 2pm-4pm
● Drive back to wild Mahseer.
Kaziranga National Park – Vigor and Charisma of theEnchanting wildlife
Immerse yourself in the total peace of being one with the natural world in the cool, pure morning air. Experience an extraordinary array of wildlife – rhinos, wild buffaloes, deer and many more. 2hrs drive to the KNP Eastern Range from Wild Mahseer.

● Post lunch drive to Hathikuli, visit organic stores and Orchid garden.

Orang National Park – Mini Kaziranga
The Orang National Park also known as Rajiv Gandhi Orang National Park
which is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River in the Darrang
and Sonitpur districts of Assam, India, covers an area of 78.81 square kilometres. Bird species: Ashy prinia, Zitting Cisticola, Pin-stripped Tit Babbler

Behali Reserve Forest – Biodiverse Haven
Behali Reserve Forest, located in the Biswanath district of Assam is a patch of semi-evergreen forest in the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. It is also recognized as an Important Bird Area in 1994 and a Key Biodiversity Area in 2004. The forest is also rich in its fauna with 282 birds, 275 butterflies, 49 mammals, 23 snakes, 12 amphibians, 11 turtles and 11 lizards documented so far.
This last left forest patch is inhabited by some of the most threatened and endemic faunal species including Rufous-necked hornbill, Wreathed hornbill, Binturong, White-winged duc,Indian Bison, Great hornbill and many more.

Pakke Tiger Reserve- Romance with the great Indian hornbill
Pakke Tiger Reserve, also known as Pakhui Tiger Reserve, is a Project Tiger reserve in the East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. The 862 km² reserve is protected by the Department of Environment and Forest of Arunachal Pradesh. Bird species: Grey peacock pheasant, Red Headed Trogon, Silver eared mesia, Wreathed hornbill, Rufous-necked hornbill and 500 + other different species Of the over 1500 butterfly species found in India, it is estimated that Pakke Tiger Reserve could be home to at least 500 species.

Eagle’s Nest Wildlife Sanctuary-An Himalayan Splendour
Eaglenest or Eagle’s Nest Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area of India in the Himalayan foothills of West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh. It conjoins Sessa Orchid Sanctuary to the northeast and Pakhui Tiger Reserve across the Kameng river to the east. Altitude ranges are extreme: from 500 metres (1,640 ft) to 3,250 metres (10,663 ft). It is a part of the Kameng Elephant Reserve. Eaglenest is notable as a prime birding site due to the extraordinary variety, numbers and accessibility of species. It is home to at least 454 species of birds.

A walk through the botanic ark (EHBA) with our naturalist. The Eastern Himalayan Botanical Ark is a first of its kind in the Eastern Himalayas. The Botanic Ark seeks to become the centre for preservation and restoration of the biodiversity in the Eastern Himalayas through education, experimentation and research. The Botanic Ark located in the Sonitpur district of Assam, India plays host to a rich sampling of Eastern Himalayan biodiversity. Bird Species: 90 species of Birds are documented in 22 acre biodiverse land of Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark.
